The Fabricant, a legal entity located at Weteringschans 109, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (“Company”, "us", "we", or "our"), operates the LEELA Platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Service" or “Platform”).

Please carefully read this page, which informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  1. Definitions

    1. Service
      Service shall refer to the LEELA Platform operated by The Fabricant which may be accessed through the web page

    2. Personal Data
      Personal Data refers to all types of Personal Information of a Data Subject collected and processed by the Company which can be used to identify such Data Subject based on the Personal Data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

    3. Usage Data
      Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

    4. Cookies
      Cookies are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device) which may include an anonymous unique identifier of the Data Subject.

    5. Personal Information Controller Personal Information Controller (“PIC”) refers to any natural or juridical person, or any other body, who controls the processing of Personal Data or instructs another to process Personal Data on its behalf. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, the Company shall be designated as a Personal Information Controller of your Personal Data.

    6. Personal Information Processor
      Personal Information Processor (“PIP”) refers to any natural or juridical person, or any other body, to whom a PIC outsources, or gives instructions as regards the Processing of Personal Data pertaining to a Data Subject on its behalf. The Company may seek the services of various PIP in order to process your data more effectively.

    7. Data Subject (or User)
      Data Subject refers to any individual who is using our Service and whose Personal Data are processed as a consequence of using our Service.

    8. Consent of the Data Subject
      Consent of Data Subject refers to any freely given, specific, informed indication of will, whereby the Data Subject agrees to the collection and Processing of his/her Personal, Data.

  2. Information Collection and Use
    We collect several different types of information to provide and improve our Service to you. The primary purposes of information collection under this Privacy Policy shall be for optimization of the user experience with the Service as well as for promotional services. The Company will collect data for a period of fourteen (14) days during the beta test period of the Service. Such information shall be used for the aforementioned purposes. As such, you hereby give your consent to the collection of your data, as well as the storing of the same for a period necessary to achieve the purposes of the data collection even beyond the beta test period.

      While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your:

      2. First name and last name

      We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you.       We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and we hold certain information.     1. To optimize user experience on the Platform;
    2. To promote the use of the Platform;
    3. To share such collected data with The Fabricant’s third-party partners working on the Platform;
    4. To provide and develop good customer support;
    5. To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
    6. To monitor the usage of our Service
    7. To detect, prevent and address technical issues

  5. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
    If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), The Fabricant’s legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.
    Consequently, you agree that The Fabricant may process your Personal Data because:

    1. You have given us permission to do so;
    2. The processing is in our legitimate interests and it is not overridden by your rights;
    3. We need to comply with applicable laws; and
    4. We need to perform a contract with you.
  6. Storage and Retention of Data The Fabricant will store and retain your Personal Data with the use of Google Firebase and only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations such as in the case we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

    The Fabricant will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

  7. Transfer of Data Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
    If you are located outside Netherlands and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Netherlands and process it there.

The Fabricant will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data to an organization or a country will take place unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other Personal Information.

    1. Disclosure for Law Enforcement Under certain circumstances, The Fabricant may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

      The Fabricant may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

      2. protect and defend the rights or property of The Fabricant

  9. Security of Data The security of your data is important to us. Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is one hundred percent (100%) secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, the Company cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. As such, you agree to hold the Company harmless against any damage or liability which you may incur as a result of providing us your data.

    If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. The Fabricant aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

    1. The right to access, update or delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.

  11. Service Providers
    We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Personal Information Processor" or “PIP”), provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.
    PIPs include but are not limited to website service providers such as Squarespace or email outreach tools such as Mailchimp. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  12. Analytics
    We may use third-party PIP to monitor and analyse the use of our Service including Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

    You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.   13. Behavioral Remarketing
    The Fabricant might use remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

  14. Google Ads (AdWords)
    Google Ads (AdWords) remarketing service is provided by Google Inc. You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page:

    Google also recommends installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on - - for your web browser. Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provides visitors with the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics.

    Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site.   16. Children's Privacy
    Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

    We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
